Tempelgården's park is a beauty experience for all your senses
Look at Olle Krantz’ beautiful and personal white sculptures among fruit trees, vast lawns, and floral splendour. Feel the fragrance of the flowers, listen to the birds singing and touch the rough surfaces of the sculptures, so typical of Olle Krantz.
Olle intended to tell us something with his sculptures, e.g. the Neptune group striving to reach the sky, the chess figures alongside the avenue symbolising our roles in society, “The lady thinker”, a female version of Rodin’s “The thinker”, the bronze bulls and many more.
Do ask us during our guided tours and we’ll tell you what we know about the sculptures in the park.
In the spring when the apple trees are in full bloom, in the summer when all the roses bloom and the grass is green, in the autumn when all the 62 fruit trees bear fruit and the colours are aflame – Tempelgården is certainly beautiful all the year around.
We ask you to respect the opening hours. If the gates are open you are welcome to enter, if not you are welcome to come back at another time, this to give our cottage guests a chance to enjoy the peace of the early mornings or late evenings.
