Wedding celebration at Tempelgården
Since 2005 we arrange full service weddings at Tempelgården for anything from only the bride and groom to over one hundred guests.
Our unique environment and our renowned kitchen are two of the foremost reasons for choosing to have your celebration here with us.
At Tempelgården we can also arrange the wedding ceremony if you like, we have a chapel for small parties, and our sculpture park is a wonderful alternative.
We’re happy to help you to contact a clergyman or civil official to perform the wedding ceremony. The cost for the clergyman/official is paid by you.
The wedding dinner is served in a room suitable for the number of guests; if there are more than 20 guests the dinner always takes place in the Temple.
We have the possibility to arrange both indoor and outdoor games for young guests, and we can arrange for a baby-sitter if necessary.
Flower arrangements in the season’s colours are included, both in the dining-hall and in the chapel.
The cost for a wedding of course depends on the food and drink you choose for your guests.
For a maximum of 20 guests you will choose from our à la carte menu, for bigger parties you can choose either from our party menus or one of our buffets.
Apart from the food and drink there is the cost for over-night stays in our cottages, totally SEK 5570:- per night for all seven cottages with room for 22 adults and 6-7 children.
A few examples of prices that can be of interest when you calculate the cost for your wedding at Tempelgården:
Bridal toast in the house’s sparkling wine including a little something to eat: SEK 59:- per guest.
Same as above but with bridal toast in Pannier Brut Tradition champagne: SEK 99:- per guest.
Same as above but with bridal toast in cider: SEK 29:- per guest.

Concerning the wedding cake we cooperate with Haglund’s confectioner’s in Gränna. The bride and groom choose the cake themselves, we arrange the transport to Tempelgården and serve the cake at an additional cost of SEK 10:- per guest. Of course it is possible for you to order the cake from somewhere else, we serve it at the same price, but unfortunately we cannot arrange the transport.
If you’d like to dance during the evening there is a space for this and we’ll keep the bar open at your service.
Our bar prices are moderate, see under the headings Beer & other beverages and Wines & spirits. The guests provide their own music machine, and if you want live music we‘ll help you to contact suitable entertainers.
We’re happy to arrange a light late night supper, we have suggestions from SEK 35:- and up per guest.
You’re also allowed to have fireworks in our park.
Sometimes you may want a gathering of the guests the morning after the big event. If so, we can provide breakfast for SEK 60:- per person or brunch with hot dishes for SEK 90:- per person. In these cases you will have access to the localities until 12:30 p.m.
If you need help with arranging transport for the guests by ferry, remmalag (horse-drawn carriage) or bus, we are only too happy to assist.
All prices are valid during 2011, and they include the laying of the tables, serving, decorations, and the party space.
